Kevin Head brings more than 15 years of insurance experience to The Southern Agency, with a career built on long-term client relationships and a steady, service-oriented approach to insurance.
Kevin began his insurance career in 2008 and spent more than a decade with American Family Insurance, where he led an agency serving thousands of policyholders across Georgia. During that time, he developed a strong understanding of carrier expectations, underwriting, and the practical realities clients face as their coverage needs evolve—experience that continues to inform how he works with clients today.
In 2022, Kevin transitioned to the independent insurance market and established his own agency. As an independent agent, he focused on expanding carrier access and providing clients with greater flexibility and choice. In 2026, Kevin partnered with The Southern Agency to further strengthen those capabilities and provide clients with the Agency’s broad resources and market reach.
Kevin holds a B.S. in Business Management, with a minor in Religion, from Liberty University. He remains actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of the local Chamber of Commerce and CASA. He also serves on the board at Crossroads in Douglasville, Georgia.
Outside of work, Kevin and his wife, Audrey, have a blended family of five children. Audrey is a longtime educator and currently teaches kindergarten. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time at the beach, saltwater fishing, woodworking, and watching college football.
