Florida — Venomous Reptiles Exhibit Bond

Florida FWC publishes a separate bond form for exhibition of venomous reptiles with a $10,000 penal sum. Prepare the exhibitor's actual security request and wildlife-license file rather than using the different Class I wildlife form or a general event bond.

What this bond does

Supply the venomous-reptile exhibition security identified in FWC's captive-wildlife application material, using the exhibitor and accepted form in the actual request.

Who needs it
An applicant preparing venomous-reptile exhibition security for FWC. Personal possession, public sale, transport and other wildlife categories have their own licensing questions; the product title does not settle them.
Who it protects
FWC's linked form addresses injury or damage from venomous reptiles possessed or exhibited and compliance with applicable State laws and Commission rules. It caps the surety's aggregate liability at $10,000 across continuation years, not $10,000 for each person or each year.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Use the venomous-reptile form in the wildlife file

FWC's application page links a Bond Form for Exhibition of Venomous Reptiles separately from its Class I wildlife bond. Use the legal exhibitor and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission recipient shown on the reptile form, with the required expiration and execution details.

The wildlife file also involves activity-specific licensing, experience material, inventory and facility or disaster-plan documents. The bond does not approve the facility, establish handling qualifications or replace those submissions. Confirm the actual possession/exhibition activity with FWC.

Purchase Now opens Propeller in a new tab. Match the required reptile instrument and applicant before applying, then follow FWC's issued-document instructions. The published form's expiration and cancellation provisions do not create a selectable bond term here.

Questions about this bond

Can I use the Class I wildlife bond form?

FWC lists that form separately from the venomous-reptile exhibition form. Match the actual reptile request and accepted instrument instead of assuming every captive-wildlife security has the same condition.

Is the $10,000 available again for each claim or year?

The linked reptile form says the surety's aggregate liability may not exceed the penal sum regardless of continuation years. It is not described as a fresh limit for each person, incident or year.

Does this authorize possession or exhibition?

No. FWC controls the applicable wildlife license, qualifications and facility requirements separately. Purchase Now opens Propeller for security, not a wildlife permit or an inspection approval.
