What this bond does

The actual State forms bind the club principal to the Insurance Commissioner. Their condition covers Article 69 and the Commissioner's related rules/orders, plus good-faith performance of member service contracts.

Who needs it
The company or association applying for or renewing its North Carolina motor-club authority. Bring the real methods of operation and membership materials; this is not a private driver's roadside-assistance purchase or a dealer-license undertaking.
Who it protects
The printed aggregate applies across all claims to one or more claimants. The bond continues from the license's effective date under its release/cancellation provisions; separate annual licensing paperwork does not establish another full allowance for every claimant or year.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Coordinate the initial or renewal evidence

Use the actual initial/new or renewal document. The forms require a power of attorney and surety acknowledgment, and the renewal form also asks for the NC license number. Their date instructions address the next licensing period ending June 30; coordinate the accepted dates rather than assuming a preset catalog duration.

The newer initial checklist says original bonds no longer have to be mailed and allows electronic submission. Follow the current file's instructions rather than automatically using the postal address printed on the bond form. Corporate authority, financial and membership documents remain separate application items.

Purchase Now opens Propeller. Match the club principal, Commissioner recipient, $50,000 sum, accepted initial/continuation evidence and dates before applying. The surety's 30-day notice to principal and Commissioner preserves the stated prior liability; provider issuance is not license approval.

Questions about this bond

Must the original bond always be mailed?

The current initial checklist expressly allows electronic submission and says original bonds are no longer necessary by mail. Follow the actual current Department instructions instead of relying only on the older form's address.

Is the renewal document identical to an initial application?

Both posted undertakings carry the same stated sum and core condition, but the renewal form also identifies the NC license. Match the actual accepted new, continuation or renewal evidence.

Does June 30 select the duration of this option?

No. It is part of the State forms' licensing-period instructions, which must be coordinated with their continuing undertaking. The catalog does not preselect a term.
