What this bond does

Supply the AMC's South Dakota registration security as part of the company's initial or renewal file, not as an individual appraiser license.

Who needs it
An appraisal management company and its designated officer assembling the entity's registration documents.
Who it protects
The Department describes payment of appraisers and specified adjudged amounts involving negligent or improper appraisal/management work or breach of contract. The actual security condition governs; it is not blanket property-value insurance or automatic payment of every disputed invoice.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Separate the entity and designated officer documents

The current application identifies the entity's legal and trade names separately from its designated officer and controlling persons. Follow the entity-structure directions for organizational documents rather than replacing the company with the officer as principal.

The attached form names the Appraiser Certification Program and provides effective-period fields and a power-of-attorney requirement. Use the current application and actual period instructions, not the 2017/2018 renewal calendar still present on the older informational page.

Purchase Now opens Propeller. Confirm the entity, Program recipient and accepted instrument before applying. Submit the original security and supporting documents as directed; provider checkout does not complete the separate registration or registry review.

Questions about this bond

Should the designated officer replace the AMC as principal?

The application identifies the entity separately and assigns the officer particular sections and signatures. Match the actual registering principal instead of substituting its contact person.

Can I use the old 2018 renewal dates?

Use the current application and actual coverage directions. The older informational page's dated calendar does not establish the required period for a new filing.

Does Purchase Now complete the State registration?

No. It opens Propeller for security. The Department separately reviews the signed company application, original security and supporting documents.
