What this bond does

MVED's crusher-license instructions require a $10,000 bond filed with the Division. The published shared business-bond form, TC-450, expressly includes crushers; complete the actual licensed role rather than treating the dealer, body-shop and crusher labels as interchangeable permissions.

Who needs it
The Utah motor-vehicle crusher business preparing licensing security. If the business also dismantles or deals in vehicles, have MVED identify the applicable classes instead of assuming one crusher undertaking grants every vehicle-business license.
Who it protects
TC-450 secures the applicable Motor Vehicle Business Regulation Act obligations and stated loss conditions. Its aggregate limit applies across claimants and years as written; it is not equipment-breakdown insurance or a new automatic claim allowance every year.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Match the crusher role and separate site approval

The shared bond names the people of the State of Utah and provides blanks for the business role, principal and aggregate sum. Match the crusher file and $10,000 instructions, with the required surety execution and acknowledgments; the State Act controls conflicts with the form.

MVED separately requires TC-301, the business and sign photographs and approval of the principal location. Its instructions say the license cannot issue before the site inspection. An accepted bond or provider completion notice does not itself authorize crushing operations.

Purchase Now opens Propeller. Confirm the principal, crusher role, accepted State undertaking, sum and dates before applying. Submit the issued instrument with the actual MVED license documents rather than confusing TC-301's application with the bond.

Sources

Have these ready

  1. Identify the Utah crusher business and actual MVED license file.
  2. Use the accepted crusher security with the $10,000 required sum.
  3. Check the shared TC-450 role, principal, surety execution and acknowledgments.
  4. Prepare TC-301 and the current site/sign supporting documents separately.
  5. Coordinate issued dates and MVED submission; await actual license approval.

Questions about this bond

Does the shared form make this a dealer license?

No. TC-450 includes several business roles, while MVED's crusher page supplies the crusher requirement. Match the actual role and sum; one form title does not grant the other licenses.

Does a new year automatically restore another $10,000 on this form?

The posted form states an aggregate limit across claimants and years. Read the issued undertaking rather than assuming a fresh annual limit from a license renewal or an unlabeled catalog choice.

Can I start operating once the provider issues the bond?

Not on that basis alone. MVED's crusher instructions require separate application and site approval and say the license cannot issue before inspection. Provider issuance is not the crusher license.
