What this bond does

Match this offering to the Town's actual ROW permit security, not an unrelated Avon jurisdiction or a State-highway authorization.

Who needs it
The Town ROW applicant, with the responsible company, owner, contractor and permitted activity identified.
Who it protects
The accepted Town bond defines its secured duties and surety liability. The published application guidance does not by itself establish a bond minimum, annual blanket condition or project-wide completion guarantee.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Identify the activity and actual road authority

The Town FAQ says aerial work needs a ROW permit for machinery used in Town ROW. It also requests notification of work on INDOT highways or county bridges so emergency services can be informed. Town notification is not proof the Town controls those facilities or replaces the controlling authority's permission.

Give Public Works the location, work description and actual applicant/owner/contractor roles. Obtain the accepted bond form, legal Town/principal wording, amount and dates; the FAQ's document question does not supply a complete bond requirement.

Keep the online permit request separate from purchase

Avon uses online RequestTracker. Its current help page says a submitted application cannot be directly altered, but the applicant can add comments and files to the correct existing Permit ID. Use that process for requested supporting information and confirm what Public Works requires.

Purchase Now opens Propeller; the option displays no fixed amount or term. Arrange the Town-requested security and confirm who handles delivery/acceptance. The FAQ describes permit expiration two years from the permit date; it does not establish a two-year provider bond term.

Obtain the actual permit approval before relying on permission to work. Keep Town acceptance, restoration and any release or continuation direction separate from provider payment and from the permit's own expiration.

Questions about this bond

Does the Town FAQ establish a two-year bond term?

No. It describes the permit's expiration from its own date. Obtain the security dates and continuation conditions from the actual Town request and issuer.

Can I correct the submitted Town application directly?

The help page says direct alteration is unavailable, but comments and files can be added to the correct existing RequestTracker Permit ID.

Does notifying Avon authorize work on an INDOT highway?

No. The FAQ requests notification for emergency-service coordination. Confirm the controlling road authority's actual permission separately.
