Brazil, IN — Right Of Way Permit Bond

Brazil's City-hosted ROW application requests an open License and Permit-type bond to the City, with the Planning and Zoning Administrator setting the amount from possible damage values. Obtain the actual City request; the posted document does not assign every job one flat amount.

What this bond does

City of Brazil security associated with the actual approved ROW activity and its repair/restoration conditions.

Who needs it
The applicant doing the work, with the customer/owner and on-site subcontractors separately identified as the application requires.
Who it protects
The accepted bond defines the City's security. The permit holds the applicant responsible for work and repair; that responsibility is not proof of unlimited surety liability or coverage of every private contract.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Show the actual activity and damage exposure

The posted ROW form distinguishes road bores, construction entrances, street cuts, driveway replacement and lane/road closures. It asks who is doing the work, for whom, the surface and heavy equipment, with subcontractor contacts and drawing information. It separately calls for Board of Public Works approval for open pavement cuts.

Obtain the Administrator's actual security sum and accepted current form. The request for an open License and Permit-type bond is not a fixed provider duration or permission for every future project. The City's separate building packet asks for a street-cut application copy when applicable; a building application does not replace this ROW request.

Coordinate issuance, pavement inspection and release

Purchase Now opens Propeller; the option displays no fixed amount or term. Provide the actual principal/City recipient, required sum/form, work location and dates. Arrange complete execution and the City's accepted delivery before relying on the separately issued permit.

The posted conditions require notification to Planning and Zoning when pavement repairs start, with at least one hour's notice for observation. They require a completion inspection and permit-repair release, including the stated sod conditions. Questionable workmanship can delay that release up to one year from repair; this is not a universal one-year provider term.

Use the City's current repair direction and actual accepted instrument for any surety release/cancellation. A signature releasing the permit repairs does not by itself establish that every bond obligation has ended. Confirm the currently accepted version of the posted application before issuance.

Questions about this bond

Is there one published flat amount for every Brazil ROW job?

The City-hosted application says the Planning and Zoning Administrator sets the amount from possible damage values. Obtain the actual request rather than importing another advertised figure.

Does an open bond mean a fixed annual provider term?

The option supplies no fixed term, and the posted application's open-bond wording does not establish one. Match the accepted issued document and continuation/cancellation conditions.

Is the possible one-year repair-release hold the bond's quoted duration?

No. It addresses questionable workmanship after repair. Obtain actual inspection/release and the accepted bond's separate force and cancellation conditions.
