Irving, TX — Right Of Way Permit Bond

Irving publishes a $50,000 License and Permit Bond for Public Works restoration under its ROW-management requirements. Match that request and the responsible principal before applying; it is different from Irving's separate public-infrastructure performance, payment and maintenance package.

What this bond does

Provides the security in Irving's published ROW restoration License and Permit Bond for work under the identified permit or license.

Who needs it
The party Irving requires to provide ROW restoration security, with the facility owner, franchise applicant and construction contractor identified separately where applicable.
Who it protects
The form requires the principal to indemnify Irving against damage or claims caused by the principal or its agents from covered work during the stated coverage period.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Use the restoration form, not an unrelated bond package

Irving's Engineering Downloads places the $50,000 License and Permit Bond with its franchise utility permit and ROW registration resources. The form has blank start and end dates; annual ROW registration does not by itself establish a one-year term for every issued bond.

The city separately publishes a Public Infrastructure Permit package for drainage, pavement, sewer and water improvements. Its performance/payment/maintenance requirements should not be treated as the terms of this ROW option or assumed satisfied by one restoration bond.

Prepare registration and the actual work application

The ROW registration asks for the facility owner's legal name, authority to use the ROW, contacts, insurance and subcontractor information. The utility permit application also asks for work location/length, plans, pavement removal, closures and proposed dates. Confirm which party the city wants named as bond principal.

The utility checklist separates city registration from authority to use city or third-party facilities and property. Obtain the permissions relevant to the installation rather than relying on a bond purchase as access authorization.

Check execution and delivery before approval

Use the existing Propeller option with Irving's requested form and dates. The published registration and utility application allow emailed material to expedite review but still require original signed documents and attachments before permit approval. Confirm the current delivery instructions with the Utility Franchise Coordinator.

The bond's thirty-day written surety-cancellation provision preserves accrued liability and liability accruing before the notice period ends. Buying or canceling the bond does not replace the separate permit, locates and pre-work requirements.

Sources

Have these ready

  1. Confirm Irving requests the $50,000 ROW restoration License and Permit Bond.
  2. Identify the city-required principal separately from facility owner/contractor contacts.
  3. Prepare registration, authority, plans, work limits and closure information.
  4. Check coverage dates, signatures, original-document delivery and permit approval before work.

Questions about this bond

Is this the same as Irving's public-infrastructure bond package?

No automatic interchangeability is established. Irving publishes separate performance, payment and maintenance documents for its Public Infrastructure Permit. Match the restoration request to the License and Permit Bond.

Does annual ROW registration establish the bond term?

No. The published $50,000 bond has blank coverage dates, and this purchase option has no structured fixed term. Use the required dates on the issued document.

Does emailing the documents complete filing?

The published registration and utility application allow email to expedite review but require original signed documents before approval. Confirm the current delivery instructions.
