Warrick County, IN — Road Cut Bond

Warrick County's published 2024 amendment lists a $50,000 open-road-cut minimum, while its current application directs the County to assign the actual sum by type/amount of work. Identify the required permit and maintenance instruments rather than using the smaller tap-pit figure or treating all security periods alike.

What this bond does

Security matching the actual Warrick County road-cut/restoration and any separately assigned maintenance request.

Who needs it
The named applicant/principal authorized to bind the applicant and facility owner for the actual County-controlled work.
Who it protects
The accepted County Board instrument defines permit completion/restoration and continuing liability. A permit does not certify private-property ROW/easement rights, and broad owner obligations are not unrestricted surety coverage.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Get the Board's actual work classification and form

The published 2024 amendment lists $50,000 minimums for open cuts and several other utility operations, but $10,000 per tap pit including its directly associated push/bore. It separately describes annual utility permit security at a $75,000 minimum. The Board can increase amounts for risk/complexity; none of these labels proves this generic Road Cut offering supplies every instrument.

The amendment includes two-year restoration-security provisions, minimum one-year permit bonds and possible three-year road-cut maintenance from completion. Ask the County which instruments and dates apply to this request, including whether separate maintenance is required; do not choose the shortest period or treat an insurance certificate as the bond.

Use the current application and wait for accepted permission

The Engineering page's current 2025 ROW application asks for applicant and separate owner, operation/location, detailed plans and assigned bond number/sum. It specifies Board of Warrick County Commissioners, Warrick County, Indiana as beneficiary and directs the signed package to the County Highway Engineer at its stated address. Use the accepted Board wording rather than substituting the Treasurer or Engineer as beneficiary.

Purchase Now opens Propeller; the option displays no fixed amount or term. Have the County and issuer match the actual security form, principal/recipient, covered work, sum and dates, arrange execution and accepted filing, then obtain the separately approved work permission and actual start/closure notices.

The amendment requires inspections before release and warns about expiry/cancellation while covered work remains incomplete and unreleased, as well as early cancellation of required road-cut maintenance. Obtain written continuation/release direction; permit expiry, filling the cut or a provider cancellation notice does not establish release.
