What this bond does

The statute secures faithful Chapter 67.08 performance, taxes, officials, contracts and Department-rule compliance. The current 611-026 form adds the described adjudged amounts and damage remedy for violations; it is separate from required participant medical insurance.

Who needs it
The licensed promoter for the professional events and overseen amateur MMA activity described by DOL, using the actual individual, partnership, corporation or LLC principal. Confirm the covered activity with DOL rather than assuming every amateur competition falls under the same request.
Who it protects
The form allows a person damaged by a covered violation of the principal or agent to sue in the specified superior court. Aggregate surety liability does not exceed the penal sum. The bond secures the promoter's described duties, not a replacement medical policy for participants.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Distinguish the license period from prior-act protection

The statute covers the event locations applied for within Washington during the license period, at an amount DOL determines at or above the stated floor. Match the licensed principal, business name and required sum on the actual form; a blank saved amount does not select the legal requirement.

Form 611-026 requires 30 days' cancellation notice to the Business and Professions Division with the reason. It also requires effectiveness for one year after cancellation or termination for covered acts or omissions on or before that cutoff. That prior-act provision is not a new one-year catalog term or coverage for new events after termination.

DOL's current process separately requires tax registration, licensing and the appropriate event arrangements. RCW 67.08.030 also imposes a distinct medical-insurance requirement for boxing promoters. Bond issuance does not satisfy that requirement or grant event approval.

Questions about this bond

Is $10,000 always the final amount?

The statute says DOL determines the amount, subject to a $10,000 minimum. Match the Department's actual requirement rather than treating the floor or a blank catalog field as a selected option.

Does the one-year clause cover a new event after cancellation?

The form describes continuing effectiveness for covered acts or omissions occurring on or before termination. It is not permission to promote new events without current required security.

Does this replace boxing participants' medical insurance?

No. RCW 67.08.030 specifies a separate medical-insurance obligation for boxing promoters. The bond and that insurance serve different requirements.
