What this bond does

Board of County Road Commissioners of Genesee County, Michigan security for the identified county-road permit work and restoration.

Who needs it
The responsible permittee for work in Commission right-of-way, with the actual contractor and required security category established.
Who it protects
The selected form covers performance of specified permit obligations and repair/restoration of affected rights-of-way and structures, within its aggregate penal sum.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Obtain the security assigned during permit review

The selected schedule distinguishes residential, commercial, utility and other activities. It permits performance deposits as cash, irrevocable letter of credit or surety and says assignment may depend on the work/restoration estimate or an approved performance agreement. Do not assume every permit requires the same bond or fixed amount.

The actual bond example names the County Road Commission Board and leaves the sum to be completed. It concerns the specified permit or permits, not every project operated by the same business. Have the issuer match the accepted form, named parties and the Commission's surety qualifications.

Keep the deposit holding period and defect guarantee distinct

The selected schedule says performance deposits remain in force at least one year after work completion. The bond example separately guarantees construction/restoration defects for one calendar year from Commission acceptance and contains its own claim and termination provisions. Confirm the actual completion, acceptance, continuation and release dates; do not convert either statement into a supplied one-year product.

Purchase Now opens Propeller. The option displays no fixed amount or term. Match the Commission-assigned sum, form, principal/Board recipient, permit coverage and dates, arrange execution and accepted filing, and obtain the actual work permit.

The current permit page requires all transactions through Oxcart, including ROW, driveways, utilities and plan review. Use that instruction rather than the older selected schedule's residential phone-application sentence. Keep inspection, completion, acceptance and Commission release records; payment or another calendar year does not itself end the aggregate bond obligation.

Questions about this bond

Is there one fixed bond amount for every Genesee ROW permit?

No fixed amount is displayed here. The selected schedule uses category/review-based security and the actual bond form leaves its sum blank. Obtain the Commission's requirement for your work.

Does the repair guarantee start at work completion?

The bond example uses Commission acceptance for its one-year defect guarantee. The schedule's minimum deposit hold separately uses completion. Confirm both events and actual release.

May I follow the older phone-application instruction?

The current permit page requires Oxcart for all transactions. That current instruction should be followed instead of the selected older schedule's residential phone sentence.
