What this bond does

Secure performance and completion of the defined reconstruction work within Gresham's right-of-way, under the permit, plans and Public Works Standards.

Who needs it
The principal responsible for reconstructing affected public facilities under a Gresham ROW permit.
Who it protects
The form names the City of Gresham as obligee and gives enforcement rights exclusively to it. It addresses the defined reconstruction work, not every promise in a private contract or payment of all subcontractors.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Base the obligation on affected public facilities

Prepare the project name, address, permit/project numbers and description of reconstruction. The form uses 110% of the estimated cost of reconstructing impacted public facilities, not automatically 110% of the entire private project.

If the principal fails to perform within the permit's time, the form requires the surety to perform the reconstruction or, at the city's election, tender the amount needed within the penal sum. The exact reconstruction description matters.

Plan for the post-acceptance warranty

The completion condition continues until completion and acceptance or the city's release/surrender, subject to the form's continuing warranty provision.

After acceptance, 10% of estimated reconstruction cost or $1,000, whichever is greater, remains for two years against defective work, labor or materials. The city may require a separate two-year warranty guarantee for repairs. Do not assume acceptance ends every secured obligation.

Apply using Gresham's reconstruction condition

Purchase Now opens Propeller's existing Gresham Performance and Completion Right of Way Bond application. Provide the legal principal, city form, estimate and project/permit identifiers.

Check the issued sum, reconstruction description, signatures and authority documents with the provider. Submit the bond as the city instructs and complete permit authorization separately. The bond is security for the work; its issuance is not the ROW permit.
