What this bond does
Multiple-permit security for the named principal's actual INDOT Miscellaneous / Other request and accepted activities.
- Who needs it
- The legal permit applicant required by INDOT, coordinated with the organizer, sponsor or contractor responsible for each approved activity.
- Who it protects
- The current State form conditions performance and lawful payment claims for covered permits, with aggregate security and its specified cost/fee exception. It does not give unrestricted use of State or local roads.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Questions about this bond
Can Other replace the actual broadband or driveway category?
INDOT's miscellaneous program is for uses without a more specific permit type. Describe the activity and have staff select the accepted category and blanket scope.
Does State blanket security authorize a city-road detour?
No. INDOT separately lists diversion-related Hold Harmless paperwork. Coordinate the actual local-road permission and traffic arrangements; the bond is not traffic authority.
Does completing one event cancel the blanket?
The State form covers multiple permits and continues until State release. Confirm outstanding permits and use INDOT's published release process rather than assuming the last event date or mailing date ends liability.
