What this bond does

Prepare the applicable trade-based Village registration security, keeping a separate restoration request distinct.

Who needs it
La Grange applicants matching their actual General/trade row and work location, rather than applying a blanket rule to every State-licensed activity.
Who it protects
The accepted form defines the Village registration obligation and recipient. The chart's liability-insurance additional-insured endorsement is a separate document, not wording establishing the bond's conditions.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Read the actual trade row and December 31 heading

The chart lists $10,000 plus insurance for General, carpentry, HVAC, electrical/low-voltage, paving/concrete, excavation, fencing and masonry. Its surety heading says valid until December 31; confirm accepted effective/end dates rather than assuming a rolling one-year term.

The sewer row describes work more than five feet from the structure. Plumbing/irrigation instead has a State-license/Letter-of-Intent row. Do not turn those different entries or a blank cell into a universal requirement or exemption for every work scope.

Keep Parkway Restoration and online registration separate

The footnote expressly identifies $10,000 Parkway Restoration for all right-of-way work. That is not proof that an ordinary registration instrument automatically satisfies the restoration request, even when the sums match.

Purchase Now opens RLI in a new tab. Have the exact requested form, legal principal, Village recipient and dates ready, then check issued execution. The current Village page directs registration through Citizen Services with staff review; provider purchase is not that approval. The existing option displays no amount or duration.

Sources

Have these ready

  1. Identify the actual trade row and work location/scope.
  2. Use the accepted $10,000 registration form when applicable.
  3. Confirm actual security dates through the stated December 31 end.
  4. Keep a Parkway Restoration request distinct from registration security.
  5. Check issuance and complete the separate Village online review.

Questions about this bond

Does every trade row state the same surety requirement?

No. Use the actual chart, including the specific sewer scope and plumbing/irrigation Letter-of-Intent row. Do not infer a blanket mandate or exemption from a different row.

Does equal $10,000 mean Parkway Restoration is the same form?

No. The sheet separately calls out restoration for right-of-way work. Confirm that exact requested instrument rather than assuming equivalence from the sum.

Does RLI purchase complete Citizen Services registration?

The Village's online process has its own application and staff review. Check the issued bond and complete that separate registration handoff.
