Pontiac, MI — Single Job Right Of Way Bond

Prepare Pontiac's individual ROW request with the actual project address and engineer's installation estimate. The selected City application allows 115% cash alone or a combination of 15% cash and 100% surety. A single-job bond must match the accepted project instrument; it does not eliminate the cash portion or authorize construction.

What this bond does

City of Pontiac, Michigan security accepted for the identified single ROW project and permit.

Who needs it
The named applicant and performing contractor for construction, maintenance or demolition operations in City ROW, with owner/customer identified separately.
Who it protects
The accepted instrument secures the defined permit obligations. Deposit-restoration and continuing facility duties are not proof of a fixed annual offered term.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Use the actual project estimate and contractor responsibility

The current Engineering index selects a project application asking for applicant designation, owner/customer, contact, work address and detailed ROW work. It calls for an engineer's installation estimate and three copies of engineering drawings.

Its security entries distinguish 115% installation-cost cash from 15% cash combined with 100% installation-cost surety. Have Engineering confirm the accepted project sum/form and cash assignment before choosing the instrument. Those percentages are authority conditions, not fixed attributes displayed by this option.

When a contractor performs the operations, the conditions require that contractor to secure the permit and share applicable responsibility with the applicant. Match the City-assigned principal and work reference rather than substituting a general business licence or another site's bond.

Obtain the permit and document restoration acceptance

Purchase Now opens Propeller. The option displays no fixed amount or term. Match the actual City form, principal/recipient, project, sum and required dates with the issuer, arrange execution and accepted filing, and obtain actual Engineering approval before work.

Give Engineering 48 hours' advance start notice and follow the actual traffic, protection and restoration conditions. City ROW approval does not replace separate MDOT, water/sewer or erosion permissions identified for the project.

The application describes deposit return after completion/final inspection and required as-builts, with a six-month and satisfactory settlement/restoration condition. Ask for actual closeout and security-release instructions. A deposit-return milestone does not establish the surety's term or authorize reuse for future jobs.
