What this bond does

Provide the security requested for Roselle's applicable other-contractor registration category.

Who needs it
Contractors whose Village request falls under the matrix's All Other Contractors row and matches this existing option.
Who it protects
Roselle requires the surety bond to be made out to the Village. The accepted form defines the licensing protection; the insurance certificate and a private project's performance guarantee are separate.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Other does not mean every contractor category

The published matrix lists General Contractors at $25,000. Electrical and roofing rows each list $10,000 with their own credentials. Plumbing and alarm have a State-license route. All Other Contractors is its own $10,000 row.

Use the request for your actual work rather than choosing solely because another row has the same sum. General contractors should follow the separate $25,000 requirement.

Apply for the bond, then complete Cloudpermit registration

Purchase Now opens Propeller in a new tab. Have the legal business, actual trade and Village request ready. After issuance, check the $10,000 sum where applicable, Village naming, dates and required execution.

Roselle requires a Cloudpermit account and the required registration information before work begins. Its matrix says payment and the registration certificate are handled through that portal. Propeller's bond application does not issue that certificate.

Sources

Have these ready

  1. Confirm the All Other Contractors row fits your actual work.
  2. Have the applicable $10,000 request and legal business details.
  3. After issuance, check Village naming and complete required execution.
  4. Finish the separate Cloudpermit registration before work begins.

Questions about this bond

Can a general contractor use the other-category $10,000 requirement?

The matrix separately lists General Contractors at $25,000. Use that category's actual request rather than treating the other-category sum as a substitute.

Are all $10,000 rows the same category?

No. Electrical, roofing and All Other Contractors have separate rows and supporting-document instructions. Match the work and form, not only the sum.

Does the bond application issue my Roselle registration certificate?

No. The Village handles registration through Cloudpermit. Apply for the bond through Propeller and complete the Village process separately.
