Proud Member Of Westside Home Builders Association

The Southern Agency is the endorsed insurance provider for Westside Home Builders Association.

Bring your projects, contracts, and coverage questions. We’ll help you review what your building business needs before the next job starts.

For the businesses behind each home

Builders and trade contractors face different exposures at every stage of a project. Materials arrive, subcontractors rotate through the site, and completed work carries responsibilities after the keys change hands.

As the endorsed insurance provider for Westside Home Builders Association, The Southern Agency helps members review those exposures together instead of treating each policy as an isolated purchase.

Insurance considerations

  • Builders and remodelers

Review the size and scope of your projects, work on existing structures, and the point at which completed operations begins.

  • Trade contractors

Discuss your specific trade, subcontracted work, tools and vehicles, plus the insurance requirements in the contracts you sign.

Getting started

  1. Tell us about your work

Call our team, mention your association and describe your projects and the decision you need to make.

  2. Review the details

Share current policies, project values, payroll, and contract requirements so an agent can discuss suitable options.

  3. Confirm the coverage

Review limits, deductibles, exclusions, and effective dates before deciding whether to proceed.

Questions members ask

Does the association endorsement mean coverage is automatic?

No. Your business and projects must be reviewed. Eligibility, available coverage, and terms depend on the insurer, location and underwriting.

What if I already have insurance?

Bring your current policies and upcoming project requirements. An agent can discuss coverage differences and timing before you decide whether to make a change.

Can we discuss requirements in a construction contract?

Yes. Share the insurance requirements with your agent before signing or starting work. The agent can review them against available policy terms; a certificate does not expand coverage.
