What this bond does

The State Board of Auctioneer Examiners lists its $5,000 personal-coverage form for apprentice auctioneers as well as auctioneers and trading assistants. Do not assume the sponsor's or company's bond substitutes for the apprentice's personal filing.

Who needs it
A person preparing apprentice auctioneer license security. The Board describes an apprentice as sponsored and employed for compensation by a qualified auctioneer to learn the profession.
Who it protects
The personal form secures observance of the applicable laws and Board rules, with the stated enforcement rights under the Act. It is not a guarantee of the apprentice's wages, training quality or future qualification for a full auctioneer license.

Your bond option

This is the option on record for this bond.

The bond amount describes the limit of the bond obligation, not the price. A listed amount does not establish what the requesting party requires. The premium is what you pay and must be confirmed for the actual option. An E&O limit, where listed, is separate errors and omissions insurance.

Keep apprentice security distinct from the sponsor's role

Use the actual apprentice's individual information and license category on the personal form. The Board's resources provide a separate sponsor-change process and separate corporate coverage; neither establishes that another person's or company's bond covers the apprentice.

The licensure snapshot describes at least two years of apprenticeship and participation for compensation in at least thirty auctions to qualify for the auctioneer license. Those are progression requirements, not a two-year bond selection or authority to practice independently after buying security.

Purchase Now opens Propeller. Check the individual/witness execution and certified power of attorney, whose certification date must agree with execution under the form. Complete the Board's apprentice filing and sponsor requirements separately from provider issuance.

Questions about this bond

Can I rely on the sponsor's or company's bond?

Do not assume it substitutes for the apprentice's request. The Board lists the personal form for apprentices and a separate corporate form. Match the individual applicant and current instructions.

Does the two-year apprenticeship mean this choice selects a two-year bond?

No. The snapshot's training period and auction participation concern progression to an auctioneer license. The personal form continues until written surety cancellation notification, and this catalog option displays no selectable duration.

Does the bond let me work as an independent full auctioneer?

No. The Board describes the apprentice as sponsored and employed by a qualified auctioneer. Security does not replace that status or prove the separate qualifications for a full auctioneer license.
